In total 33 conditional passes were issued restaurants, bars, cafés, bakeries and grocery stores between Aug. 10 and Aug. 16

Aya260 Sushi at 260 Richmond Street East received a conditional pass on Aug. 16 with one major infraction:

Best Choice Vegetable and Grocery at 526 Oakwood Avenue received a conditional pass on Aug. 11 with one major infraction:

·         Refrigerate potentially hazardous foods at internal temperature above 4 C

Bombay Roti at 2881 St. Clair Avenue East received a conditional pass on Aug. 14 with five major infractions:

·         Fail to clean multi-service articles after use

·         Fail to maintain handwashing stations (liquid soap and paper towels)

·         Food premise maintained in manner permitting adverse effect on food

Collective Arts Toronto at 777 Dundas Street West received a conditional pass on Aug. 10 with three major infractions:

A conditional pass is issued when at least one infraction presents a significant health risk, and a closure is ordered when at least one infraction presents an immediate health hazard. Both outcomes trigger an additional inspection within 48 hours. Failure to comply with Toronto’s DineSafe program can result in fines, court summons and other enforcement action.
