Toronto Public Health issued one closure order and two conditional pass warnings to local eateries over the past week.

Birria La Catrina located at 335 Yonge St was ordered to close on Dec. 29 for the following infractions:

  • Fail to obtain food from source subject to inspection

  • Fail to provide handwashing stations with adequate supplies (hot and cold water)

  • Fail to provide hot and cold running water in food preparation area

  • Fail to provide hot and cold running water in utensil washing area

  • Fail to sanitize utensils as often as necessary

  • Food premise maintained in manner permitting health hazard

  • fail to provide equipment for cleaning and sanitizing utensils as required

Nature Healing Bakery Inc located at 1416 Queen St W was issued a conditional pass on Dec. 30 for the following infraction:

  • Fail to protect against harbouring of pests

Birria La Catrina located at 335 Yonge St was issued a conditional pass on Dec. 31 for the following infraction:

  • fail to provide equipment for cleaning and sanitizing utensils as required
