York Region Public Health released a list of public health inspection infractions for the week of July 8 to 14.

A Markham restaurant was charged with a food safety violation last week in York Region.

Lucky Seafood House

According to York Region Public Health, Lucky Seafood House at 102, 7270 Woodbine Ave., Markham, was cited for the following compliance issue:

·         Food premise not maintained with food handling room in sanitary condition.

Charges do not necessarily result in failure of the health inspection — they simply highlight problems for which the establishments were penalized. The establishments are given a chance to get back into compliance and pass their health inspection, according to York public health.

No compliance orders were issued to area restaurants during the inspection time from July 8 to 14.
