Find answers to common questions about TrainCan online courses, exams, course access, and technical support.
Will my course expire?
No. TrainCan courses do not expire. Once you purchase a course, you can complete the training whenever you're ready and at your own pace.
Can I fail a course?
Requirements vary by course. BASICS.fst® and ADVANCED.fst® require a webcam-proctored final examination. A minimum score of 74% is required for BASICS.fst® and 75% for ADVANCED.fst® to receive certification. If you do not achieve a passing grade, webcam retests can be purchased through the My Courses page after logging in.
Most other TrainCan courses are courses of completion. Each learning unit includes an assessment that must be successfully completed before progressing. You may review the course material and retake assessments as needed until all course requirements have been completed and your certificate is issued.
Can I complete my course in more than one sitting?
Yes. All TrainCan online courses are self-paced. Your progress is saved automatically, allowing you to log out and return later to continue where you left off.
I can't log in to my course. What should I do?
If you've previously logged in and have forgotten your password, select the Forgot Password option on the Student Login page. Password reset instructions will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
If you're still unable to access your course, please contact our support team and we'll be happy to assist you.
