TrainCan, Inc. - Train-The-Trainer - Food Safety Training Program
The goal of the Train-the-Trainer Program is to provide participants with a solid understanding of how to teach Food Safety effectively. The facilitator incorporates the concepts and principals of teaching adults while guiding course participants through the learning process. Participants will come away with a better understanding of their own unique training style. The program is offered monthly through 3 sessions in a virtual classroom. All sessions must be attended in order to receive a Train-the-Trainer completion certificate.
The Student Workbook is provided as part of the training program to all registered attendees. It contains exercises to be completed prior to the program and information to support a successful learning experience for each student. Students should expect homework to be completed between sessions.
Train-the-trainer, once fully completed, will allow individuals who have successfully attained a grade of 90% or higher in ADVANCED.fst® to register with TrainCan, Inc. to train the ADVANCED.fst® and BASICS.fst® food handling certification programs.

Train-The-Trainer Application
Train-The-Trainer (TTT) is a required course to become a registered Trainer with TrainCan. This allows individuals to conduct their own in-person training for TrainCan’s Food Handler programs. Individuals must also complete the ADVANCED.fst Course and pass the exam with a minimum of 90% in order to fulfill the requirements of trainer status. It is advantageous for students to study the ADVANCED.fst before taking the TTT course, but it is not imperative.

Course Information
- Consists of Virtual Sessions with our Lead Trainer and a maximum of 4 participants
