DINE SAFE PEEL: Three Mississauga restaurants given warnings by Peel Health inspectors



These are the inspection results for establishments across Brampton and Mississauga for the week of Dec. 1-7, 2019.
These establishments were inspected by Peel Health Inspectors in accordance with the Ontario Food Premises Regulation.
Three Mississauga restaurants were given a Conditional Pass by public health inspectors, who routinely check local restaurants, cocktail bars/beverage rooms, bakeries and take-out food establishments.

Did operator take adequate measures to maintain food premises in a condition that prevent harbourage or breeding of pests? (Significant Risk) Not In Compliance
Did operator keep potentially hazardous food out of the temperature danger zone, and provide adequately sized refrigeration and/or hot-holding equipment/space for the safe storage of such food? (Significant risk) Corrected During Inspection
Did operator protect the premises against the entry of pests and maintain records of all pest control measures? Not In Compliance
Did operator properly maintain food contact surfaces? Not In Compliance
Did operator maintain every washroom in a sanitary condition? Not In Compliance

Charges do not necessarily result in failure of the health inspection; they simply highlight problems for which the establishments were penalized. The establishments are given a chance to get back into compliance and pass their health inspections.
