DINE SAFE PEEL: Public health inspectors warn just one local eatery with conditional pass

These are the inspection results for establishments across Brampton and Mississauga for the week of July 21 to July 28.
These establishments were inspected by Peel Health Inspectors in accordance with the Ontario Food Premises Regulation.
One place was given a Conditional Pass by public health inspectors, who routinely check local restaurants, cocktail bars/beverage rooms, bakeries and take-out food establishments.

One or more significant infractions were observed under the Food Premises Regulation during an inspection on July 28, 2017.
Did operator cook and/or reheat hazardous food to the required internal cooking temperature? (Significant risk) No
Did operator keep hazardous food out of the danger zone temperature? (Critical risk) No
Did operator protect food from contamination and/or adulteration? (Critical Risk) No
Did operator properly wash and sanitize utensils? No
Did operator properly maintain the mechanical dishwasher? No
Did operator properly wash and sanitize utensils that do not fit in sinks or mechanical dishwasher? No
Did operator maintain non-food contact surfaces clean, sanitary and in good condition? No
Did operator maintain the garbage and liquid waste in a clean and sanitary condition? No
Charges do not necessarily result in failure of the health inspection; they simply highlight problems for which the establishments were penalized. The establishments are given a chance to get back into compliance and pass their health inspections.
